Support for Everyday Vision Challenges

At Dana Vo OD, LTD, we provide care for a range of common eye conditions that can impact your daily vision and overall well-being.

Whether you’re dealing with blurry vision, difficulty reading, or changes in your eyesight during childhood, we take the time to explain what’s happening and how we can help.

Our approach is thorough, straightforward, and tailored to your needs.

Foreign Bodies

If you get something in your eye, like dust, sand, metal, or debris, it’s important not to rub it. A foreign object can scratch the surface of your eye or cause an infection.

We can safely remove it, check for damage, and help relieve discomfort. If your eye feels irritated, gritty, or painful after exposure, come see us for a proper evaluation.

Pink Eye / Red Eye

Red, irritated eyes may be caused by conjunctivitis (pink eye), which can be viral, bacterial, or allergy-related. It may come with itching, burning, discharge, or light sensitivity.

Some forms are contagious, while others are not. A medical eye exam helps us identify the cause and provide treatment that clears up symptoms quickly and safely.

Allergic Eye Reactions (Allergic Conjunctivitis)

This condition is triggered by things like pollen, dust, mold, or animal dander, and often comes with other allergy symptoms like sneezing or nasal congestion. Because it can look a lot like pink eye, many people mistake it for an infection. The key difference is that allergies usually affect both eyes, and they don’t produce thick discharge or cause pain

Styes

A stye is a small, painful bump on the eyelid, often caused by a blocked oil gland or bacteria. It can look like a pimple and may cause swelling or tenderness.

Most styes go away on their own, but we can recommend safe, effective ways to ease discomfort and help it heal faster. If it doesn’t improve or becomes more painful, an exam is a good idea.

Dry Eye

Dry eye can feel like burning, stinging, or a gritty sensation, and may cause blurry vision or excessive tearing. It’s often due to screen time, weather, or underlying conditions.

We evaluate your symptoms, identify the cause, and recommend drops or treatments to relieve discomfort and protect your eye health long term.
